PowerVap™ Evaporation & Solvent Exchange module

The PowerVap evaporation system communicates with The PLE and the Power-Prep modules to concentrate the fraction and perform solvent exchange. This module uses a combination of heat, nitrogen blow down and vortex motion to evaporate the samples rapidly. PowerVap uses 4 tubes for each channel with a capacity of 250 ml each. The DMS6000 software displays and records the evaporation data such as heat, Nitrogen and infrared sensors activity. This feature of the Power Vap makes evaporation precise and repeatable.

The PowerVap is fully programmable and values such temperature, nitrogen time, and final extract level can be programmed and saved using the DMS6000 software. This software enables the evaporation and solvent exchange to be combined in one step. The PowerVap reduces the final extract to 500micro litter and will deposit it in a GC vial ready for GC, LC, or GC/MS analysis.
